Enid Blyton’s book, ‘Naughty Amelia Jane’ was a childhood favourite of mine. I loved it not only for the fun story about a mischievous little doll named Amelia Jane, but for my beautiful older sister Amelia who actually owned the aforementioned book.

In the last couple of years, I’ve known quite a few parents who’ve assigned the name Amelia as a first or second name to their newborn daughters.
